NEW ADVENTURES

The wanderings of a visual artist and a hopeless dreamer. I talk about my travels as a means
of seeing the world on a much deeper level and the way to self-discovery.

THE LYCIAN WAY

Heavy rain and hail were pouring down on us...

We were spoiled by the gentle sea and lulled by the murmur of crickets.

ICELAND

I ran away from the heat wave in exchange for "winter" coolness, closer to the Arctic Circle. I escaped and got lost somewhere between the ridges of the rhyolite mountains in the Landmannalaugar region, painted with a kaleidoscope of different colors. A trip to Iceland allowed me to look at the enchanting landscapes that look as if they descended from the pages of Scandinavian fairy tales and escape for a while from everyday troubles...

PATAGONIA

When I first merged with Patagonia's vastness, I immediately felt the effect of the "falling" sky. Here it hangs very low. It seems that you can reach the clouds with the palm of your hand, and dive into it - from the bottom up, without any effort, as if it was a soft and giant pillow. I wanted to watch the sky endlessly, and felt the constant drama in the air, especially while trekking in the mountains. The ever-changing shapes of the clouds repeatedly rushed past me, and the sky was irreversibly troubled with clouds.

EASTER ISLAND

EASTER ISLAND

Easter Island is the most remote and isolated place on Earth. Nobody knows its real name. The locals call it Rapanui. In the oldest legends, the island always stands under the name Te Pito o Te Henua, or the Navel of the World.

PERU

I once dreamed that I was an Inca, and I had a clear awareness of my belonging to this ancient civilization. In this dream, I was digging a hole in the ground and covering it with stones. Then, I was throwing the pieces of meat in there and coated them with soil. This action seemed very familiar and natural to me as if I had done this activity more than once before...

NEW ZEALAND

At the very edge of our planet, there sits an unusual island of a large white cloud: New Zealand. My journey begins with the exploration of the southern part of the most picturesque place on earth.

NEPAL

Before starting to write this article, I was sitting and staring at a blank piece of paper for a long time, trying to tune in to that wave, or more precisely, that altitude at which I existed during my trip to the Himalayas. Suddenly - a stream of thoughts and emotions started to pour out of me, all of it was pulled from the depths of my subconscious by the mountains. And so, I could not stop!

THE LYCIAN WAY

Hiking in Turkey along the Lycian Way is one of those trips that fill you up with impressions to the very brim of your being. I want to create, sing, dance, love. For me, this trip opened up the door to a new era, where there is no place for fears and doubts, where the best decisions are made spontaneously and instinctively.

USA

NORTH  AMERICA

While sitting in a cozy restaurant, and looking at the sunset on Lake Tahoe, California, a sudden thought had struck me. Did I think my journey to Nepal would change my life so drastically, and I will become addicted to travel? (Read my story about a trip to Nepal here). I have the travel bug now, and it forces me to plan the trekking routes, and study the information about new countries I visit. I repeat everywhere I go that more than anything in the world I love to travel. And quite often, I have an urge to fly to foreign places, in search of new sensations and discoveries. Travel inspired me to write about my experiences and share them with all of you. I did not know all of this when I decided to fly to Nepal. But I felt that a radical change was coming, and it was time to expand my boundaries and the boundaries in general!

FRANCE

I saw this place long before I knew it existed. One day, I had a dream about an incredible village, carved out from the rocks. I remembered this beautiful dream for a long time. Is it worth mentioning that when I was planning my trip to France, studying local attractions, I came across this town of my dreams? At that moment, I clearly realized that I had to go there no matter what!

RUSSIA

I finally made it to Russia! I am visiting Moscow for the first time, if not taking into account a very short layover, about 20 years ago, when as a teenager I flew across the Atlantic Ocean. I only had a couple of hours to see the city, so I figured I would visit the red square and see the Kremlin! It was wintertime. I remember how cold it was, I remember my ridiculous, orange jacket that showed off my skinny legs, which sort of stuck out there, squeezed in tight jeans; while my head was covered with a funny flat-crowned hat, completing this dull outfit. And here I come again! This time it is summertime!

RUSSIA

SPAIN

Paradise island - how do you imagine it? My Paradise Island turned out to be а semi-wild tract of land lost somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea. Lushly covered by all sorts of vegetation and dotted with cliffs and rocky hills, which hide truly divine turquoise bays, the island of Menorca turned my picture of the world into a single puzzle. Almost untouched by human nature and a total silence had some magical effect on me. I had the luxury of relaxing.
